WHAT IS HARMONYCA?

HArmonyCa is one of the first of a new generation of Hybrid Fillers, which not only promise to provide instant volume but also longer term firmer, smoother skin, thanks to its bio-stimulatory properties. It utilises Hyaluronic Acid to restore facial volume and enhance facial contours, as well as Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA) microspheres to improve skin elasticity, by stimulating fibroblast activity, inducing collagen and elastin production. It is a long-lasting and natural-looking solution, resulting in a rejuvenated and harmonious facial appearance.

HArmonyCa is administered to the subcutaneous (just under the skin) layer of the face via a cannula, to fill hollow, sunken areas around the cheeks and jawline, whilst gradually tightening and lifting the skin.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HARMONYCA?

One of the biggest benefits of HArmonyCa is the ability to achieve natural-looking results without having to undergo surgery. It is a quick and minimally invasive treatment, meaning you do not require any significant recovery time. HArmonyCa offers other remarkable benefits for your facial rejuvenation, including:

What happens during my HArmonyCa treatment?

Your clinician will go through your consent form and medical history before treatment.  Some clinical photographs will be taken of the treatment area before and after treatment. Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed prior to and during treatment. You will be lying down with your head slightly raised during treatment.

HArmonyCa treatment is performed using a cannula, which means fewer needle pricks and safer delivery. There are 1-3 injection points per side (depending on the area being treated). The procedure comes with minimal discomfort and minimal downtime.

Straight after the treatment, the skin will be gently massaged with arnica gel, to smooth out the product.

Who is suitable for HArmonyCa treatment?

HArmonyCa treatments are suitable for men and women who wish to subtly restore facial volume, improve skin quality and tighten lax, crepey skin. It is beneficial for those experiencing age-related volume loss, sagging skin or loss of facial definition.

However, individuals with certain medical conditions, allergies to Calcium hydroxyapatite or a history of adverse reactions to injectable treatments may not be suitable candidates.

Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals are advised to postpone HArmonyCa treatments.

During your consultation at Dr Bryant Aesthetics, our experienced practitioner will evaluate your facial condition, medical history, and specific concerns to determine if HArmonyCa is the right choice for you.

Which areas can be treated with HArmonyCa

HArmonyCa is typically used to rejuvenate and restore the cheeks, jawline and jowls.

Does HArmonyCa treatment hurt?

You may feel some mild discomfort but most patients find the treatment easily tolerable. Compared to other rejuvenation methods– such as laser– it has minimal downtime and lower levels of discomfort. However, if there is a concern about discomfort during the procedure, a topical or local anaesthetic can be used to increase your comfort.

Every patient’s needs are different, so make sure to discuss this with your clinician.
